TERMS & CONDITIONS

Orient Jazz Weekend (OJE) is an event organized by Swing Istanbul and Swing Ankara.

— After successful registration, each participant should receive a confirmation email. If you haven’t received a confirmation within a few days of your registration, please notify us by emailing orientjazzexpress@gmail.com.

— Applicants must complete their registration on time; otherwise, pre-registration may be canceled. OJE considers the registration of any participant who has completed their payment as completed.

— The event organizers are not responsible for any accidents, losses, or theft at the event.

— The event organizers are not responsible for unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness of instructors, etc.) or their consequences.

— The event organizers reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the program before and during the event.

— To register for the competition, participants must be registered with the festival with a pass. They must pay any required entry fees, if applicable, and comply with all Competition Rules. Please note that due to limited availability or a high partner imbalance, the final registration for the competition is based on the current availability of the event.

— If the organizers cancel or postpone the event due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., government restrictions, force majeure, etc.), participants will have the option to transfer their tickets to a new date or request a refund if the event cannot be rescheduled. All other refund/cancellation policies apply.

— All participants consent to photography and video recording during the event; the organizers may use this footage/video for promotional purposes. All official OJE videos, images, and competition entries will become the property of OJE and may be posted on the OJE YouTube or Instagram channel.

During the event, all participants agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Code of Conduct, and any other instructions given by the organizers and others involved in the event.

CODE OF CONDUCT

At Orient Jazz Express, we are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and welcomed, regardless of gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or national origin. There is no place for discrimination at our festival.

All participants, instructors, volunteers, and team members agree to the Code of Conduct, which we share under the “Code of Conduct” section on the main menu of our website. If you wish, clicking anywhere on the page you are currently reading will also redirect you to that page. Please read the details carefully and follow the Action Plan at the bottom of the page in case of any violation.

Event participants who violate these rules may be subject to sanctions or dismissal from the event without a refund, at the discretion of the event organizers and the Care Team.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Passes cannot be canceled after payment. However, your right to transfer your pass remains valid until November 11, 2025.

ŞARTLAR & KOŞULLAR

Orient Jazz Weekend (OJE), bir Swing İstanbul ve Swing Ankara organizasyonudur.

— Başarılı bir kayıt işleminin ardından, her katılımcı bir onay e-postası almalıdır. Kaydınızdan sonraki birkaç gün içinde bir onay almadıysanız, lütfen orientjazzexpress@gmail.com adresine mail göndererek bizi bilgilendirin.

— Kayıt başvurusu yapanların kesin kayıt için ödemeyi zamanında yapması gerekmektedir; aksi takdirde ön kayıt iptal edilebilir. Ödemesini tamamlamış her katılımcının kaydı, OJE tarafından tamamlanmış olarak kabul edilir.

— Etkinlik organizatörleri, etkinlikteki kazalardan, kayıplardan veya olası hırsızlık durumlarından sorumlu değildir.

— Etkinlik organizatörleri, öngörülemeyen durumlardan (örneğin eğitmenlerin hastalığı vb.) ve bunların sonuçlarından sorumlu değildir.

— Etkinlik organizatörleri, etkinlik öncesinde ve süresince programda makul değişiklikler yapma hakkını sahiptir.

—Yarışma kaydı oluşturmak için yarışmacıların bir pass türünde festivale kayıtlı olması gerekmektedir. Eğer yarışma ücreti varsa gerekli giriş ücretlerini ödemeli ve tüm Yarışma Kurallarına uymalıdır. Yarışma kayıtlarında kontenjan kısıtları ya da yüksek düzeyde partner dengesizliği nedeniyle başvurunuza takiben güncel kontenjan durumuna göre kesin kayıt oluşturulduğunu belirtmek isteriz.

— Organizatörler, kontrolümüz dışındaki koşullar (örneğin hükümet kısıtlamaları, mücbir sebepler vb.) nedeniyle etkinliği iptal eder veya ertelerse, katılımcılar biletlerini yeni tarihe aktarma veya etkinliğin yeniden planlanması mümkün değilse para iadesi talep etme seçeneğine sahip olacaktır. Diğer tüm iade/iptal politikaları geçerlidir.

— Tüm katılımcılar etkinlik sırasında fotoğraf ve video çekimine izin verir; organizatörler bu görüntüleri/videoları tanıtım amaçlı kullanabilir.Tüm resmi OJE videoları, görselleri ve yarışma başvuruları OJE’nin mülkiyetinde olacak ve OJE YouTube veya Instagram kanallarına gönderilebilir.

Etkinlik süresince tüm katılımcılar bu Şartlar ve Koşulları, Davranış Kurallarımızı ve Organizatörler ile etkinlikte yer alan diğer kişiler tarafından verilen diğer talimatları kabul etmiş sayılırlar.

DAVRANIŞ KURALLARI

Orient Jazz Express olarak, cinsiyet, cinsiyet kimliği, yaş, cinsel yönelim, din,, engellilik, fiziksel görünüm, vücut ölçüsü, ırk, etnik köken veya ulusal köken farketmeksizin; herkesin kendini güvende, saygı görmüş ve hoş karşılanmış hissettiği bir ortam yaratmaya kararlıyız. Festivalimizde hiçbir ayrımcılığa yer yoktur.

Tüm katılımcılar, eğitmenler, gönüllüler ve ekip üyeleri, web sitemizde yer alan ana menüden “Code of Conduct” başlığında paylaştığımız Davranış Kurallarını kabul etmiş sayılır. Dilerseniz şu an okumakta olduğunuz sayfanın herhangi bir yerine tıkladığınızda da sayfa yönlendirmesi yapılır. Lütfen detayları dikkatlice okuyun ve herhangi bir ihlal durumunda sayfanın sonunda yer alan Eylem Planını izleyin.

Bu kuralları ihlal eden etkinlik katılımcıları, etkinlik organizatörleri ve Care Team işbirliğindeki takdire bağlı olarak yaptırımlara tabi tutulabilir veya herhangi bir geri ödeme yapılmaksızın etkinlikten çıkarılabilir.

İPTAL VE İADE

Ödeme işlemi gerçekleştikten sonra pass iptali yapılamamaktadır. Ancak pass devir işlem hakkınız 11 Kasım 2025’e kadar saklı olmaktadır.
